Our Mission & Vision
To Know Him and to Make Him Known
“… all over the world the gospel is growing and bearing fruit by changing lives.” – Colossians 1:6
The Mission of the church is realized in these three scriptures…
- The Great Commission – “Go and Share” (Mark 16:15)
- The Great Commandment – “Love God – Love People” (Matthew 22:37-39)
- The Great Commitment – “Prayer that touches His Heart” (Mark 11:17)
Our Vision can be best lived out in these four statements…
We exist to help others…

Bethel Life’s
Core Beliefs
THE TRINITY
There is only one God, who exists eternally as a Trinity of three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each member of the Trinity is fully God, yet each is personally distinct from the other.
JESUS
Jesus Christ (second person of the Trinity) was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified and died on the cross, was resurrected from the dead and ascended to heaven. He baptizes the believer in the Holy Spirit and will return to Earth to conclude history and fulfill God’s plan.
HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit (third person of the Trinity) comes to live within a person once they accept Jesus as their personal savior. The Holy Spirit gives us power to live as God wants us to live, and gives us spiritual gifts to serve the Church and change the world.
SALVATION
Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for our sins. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ – not by being a good person or doing good deeds – that a person can be restored to a right relationship with God.
THE BIBLE
The Bible was written by men under the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is for all people, in every situation. It contains no error. God’s words were relevant then, are still relevant today, and will be forever.
WATER BAPTISM
Jesus is our example in all things. He was baptized by being fully immersed in water. Following His example is our way to show the world that we have decided to identify ourselves as a child of God and believer in Jesus Christ.
THE CHURCH
The Church – the Body of Christ – is not a building. It is a gathering of local believers. The Church is believers working together to fulfill God’s purposes of reaching all people with the Gospel. We are to work together to help each other in love and unity.

Believe in Jesus
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
Because of Jesus, we can be forgiven of our sins and made right with God our Father.
Learn more about salvation and take the first step by becoming a follower of Jesus.
Belong to a family
“All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.”
1 Corinthians 12:27
It is impossible to isolate yourself as a Christian and still live the life God has called you to live. Belonging to a church family helps you connect with God and glorify Him and it means you have people supporting you, people who know how to pray for you and how to encourage you. It gives you a place where you can make a difference and a place where you can be renewed.
Become a disciple
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
2 Corinthians 5:17
When we receive the gift of salvation, we become a new person in Christ. From there, we become disciples of Jesus, learning from His words and example. Through study, teaching and fellowship we all grow in Christ and discipleship together.
Build the Kingdom
“Go and make disciples of all the nations,[a] baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
Matthew 28:19
After we believe in Jesus, become His disciple, and belong to the body of Christ, we are ready to become kingdom builders! Salvation is for everyone and Jesus has commanded us to share that good news with the world. We invite you to partner with us as we work to build the Kingdom of God. Not sure how?
